When selecting products to feature… please choose items that are tagged ‘team efa’ or ‘team efa cotm’… and be sure that the seller shop’s name appears on our EFA Member Index. If you are an member, post the link in EFA Teams forum in the EFA Team discussion thread. If you are not an EFA member, please convo the link to our Blog Editor: Nicole of Brizel4TheAnimals. We will gladly feature an all EFA Member Treasury on our main blog !
EFA has a blog that is solely dedicated to our Challenge entries: for both our Monthly Challenges as well as our Treasury Challenges.
Monthly Challenge & Competition
Our Challenge Blog provides the perfect venue and setting to feature our Monthly Challenge entries... not only does it make for a festive display of goods but it's also a wonderful marketing opportunity for EFA's artists & suppliers alike to introduce themselves and talk about how they help animals !
Our Monthly Challenge program starts at the beginning of each month… entries that have been accepted into our program are displayed daily until all our Monthly Challenge entries have been posted. The entries must qualify by reflecting our chosen monthly theme and a portion of the product needs to benefit an animal charity upon sale.

Entering the Etsy for Animals Monthly Challenge is a fun way to participate in the EFA Team activities. Entries are promoted on EFA’s Yahoo Groups, Twitter, Facebook as well as on our Etsy Teams group. Members and EFA fans are encouraged to visit our Challenge blog to leave a supportive comment as well as promote the Monthly Challenge entries via Social Media.
For every sixteen Monthly Challenge entries received, an Etsy Treasury will be created. These are made on a first come basis so… the first sixteen Challenge entries received will automatically be entered into EFA's Monthly Challenge Competition.
Once these 16 entries have posted on the Challenge blog and a Treasury has been created... a Voter will be placed on the Challenge blog for a period of 7 days (or thru the last day of that month if time period is shorter) where one vote per blog visitor will be accepted and the entry with the most votes will WiN! The winner of the EFA Monthly Challenge will receive a free one-month advertising slot, in the form of an etsy mini 1x1, on our Challenge Blog the following month !
EFA's Monthly Challenge Competition will only take place if 16 entries are received ! Should we receive an additional 16 entries after that, EFA's Challenge Team will gladly consider running a second competition simultaneously.
Monthly Treasury Challenge & Competition
EFA also has a Monthly Treasury Challenge… our challenge is to make a 100% all EFA Team Treasury based on a set theme.
EFA members are invited to create an Etsy Treasury based on their interpretation of the month's Treasury Challenge theme and must feature 100% ACTIVE EFA Members. It is very important that items are team tagged and that the featured EFA’ers are current EFA members. Check our website Member index list to make sure !
Treasury Challenges will post on the Challenge Blog and will be promoted on EFA’s Yahoo Groups, Twitter, Facebook as well as on our Etsy Teams group. Members and EFA fans are encouraged to visit our Challenge blog to leave a supportive comment as well as promote the Monthly Challenge entries via Social Media.
Once the Treasuries have all been featured, a Voter will appear at the bottom of the Challenge blog for a week or so where blog visitors can pick our favorite one ! The Treasury with the most votes will WiN and the winner of the EFA Treasury Challenge will receive a free one-month advertising slot, in the form of an etsy mini 1x1, on our Challenge Blog the following month !
