Kitty Empire products are all vegan, made with vinyl and occasionally vintage fabrics. They are each individually handcrafted giving them much needed character in a world of mass production. Her sewing center is home based in the beautiful and artistically diverse town of Nelson, British Columbia.

Kitty Empire donates 5% of sales to efa as well as monthly donations to the Spca and IFA

The store is made up of various handmade items by volunteers with Alabama EARS, which is a rabbit rescue in Birmingham, AL. All of the profits are donated to the organization to help with the daily care and medical expenses of the rabbits. Animals are a huge part of the life of the Alabama EARS volunteers.

The president/main volunteer has turned her garage into a giant bunny apartment complex, housing up to 20 foster rabbits at any one time. Another lives in a small petting zoo with 5 different species co-existing in harmony!

Silvermint creates bags, purses and accessories with lots of thought, care and attention to details. Impromptu ideas that pop up tends to get incorporated into her works. Thus making them OOAK(one of a Kind) and unique.

Love the environment, Love the animals. Silvermint has a soft spot for the little creatures of the earth. She volunteered at the bird park's penguin parade during her school days and would like to do more to help out now. 10% of everything she sells goes to conservation, research and education of the wildlife in our environment.
